We understand that planning a group trip can be overwhelming, which is why we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your upcoming adventure. From accommodations to activities, we've got you covered. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're always happy to help!
Are food and beverages included?
At the accommodation for the trip, we offer an honesty-outdoor bar. We provide daily breakfast and 5 times a 3-course dinner included in your stay. Lunch, bites and extra drinks are available at extra costs upon request. You will not have access to the kitchen or refrigerator space unless by prior agreement.
Is my flight to Portugal included?
No, Flights for this trip are your own responsibility.
Do you offer a travel insurance?
No, but we strongly advise you to take a travel insurance. Everyone is responsible for ensuring they have adequate travel insurance and an emergency telephone number. The use of the accommodation and amenities are offered on the condition that they are used entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, illness, death or loss, and damage to your property or belongings, including motor vehicles, however caused.
What is the cancellation policy?
Should you wish to cancel your booking, written notification must be received as soon as possible. The following charges will apply from the date on which written notification is received; cancellation up to 2 months to the start date of the trip will incur the loss of deposit (25% of total price) only. Cancellations less than 6 weeks before the arrival date will incur the loss of full payment.

NOTE: if the complete trip has to be canceled (due to COVID-19 / force majeure). We will reschedule the trip free of charge up to 20 days before arrival date. Any cancellation from our side 20 days before your arrival date, will result in the loss of deposit (25% of total price).
What if my flight is cancelled?
We cannot accept liability for errors or omissions of parties over which we have no control (e.g. car hire, airline companies).
What if I damage anything?
Should you be responsible for any breakages, loss, or damage of any item of the property or additional cleaning be necessary, this can be for your own costs. You are expected to take reasonable care of the property; the property must be left clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. Please ensure that any damage is reported to Femke or Jonas as soon as it occurs.
What is my
responsibility?
Please take note that we are not an official travel agency, although we offer a
package tour with accommodation, F&B, dancing- and surfing classes, we cannot take full responsibility for any damage, personal injuries, delay or loss during the trip. Therefore we ask you to take full responsibility for yourself, your own actions and your own belongings.
What if my concern is not listed here?
We fully expect you to be very happy with the Surf & Salsa trip and amenities provided. However, should you experience any inconvenience, you must immediately contact Femke or Jonas so that the problem can be resolved as soon as possible.
